Baked Scones.
Menekşe AYDIN was born in Diyarbakır, Turkey in 1989. She studied painting at Dicle University, MA Art and Design at Yıldız Tecnical University and holds a Ph.D degree in painting from Hacettepe University. Generally she makes baked scones on her Works and they are mostly edible. She focuses on social, politics and cultural topics wich can be linked to her own life experiences. She participated in various exhibitions and residencies in Estonia, Portugal, İtaly, USA, Germany, Belgium, Lithuania, Romania, Finland, England and Malta. She is an academic living and producing in Batman.
